I am pleased to announce that my website has been fully updated.

Those who follow me might have noticed that I didn’t write anything for a week and then came back with a different subject than the one I said I would write about.

There is a simple explanation.

Soon, I’ll be pleased to offer drama and yoga-meditation classes.

After studying this art, my passion being now my job, I have the great honour to offer drama classes in the town I’m living in. On this occasion, I have written an article on DRAMA to present to you my universe and what makes me joyful.

I invite you to have a look at my new home page.

You’ll find brand new features on what you can clearly find on my website. As I say it there, you will also soon be able to take a dosha quizz so you would now more about your Ayurvedic footprint.

As a matter of fact, thanks to my new diploma recognized by WHO on Ayurveda, I will soon be available as a Holistic Life Coach.

Furthermore, and thanks to that diploma I just told you about, I have on my heart to share my second passion, which is meditation / yoga. As the drama classes will open begining november, I will also at that time offer yoga-meditation classes. We’ll be hosted by a martial arts dojo.

I have also updated my about page, in which you will find a better description of who I am and what I do.

Of course, you can find my pages about the classes I will give, starting november 5th. Unfortunately those pages are only available in French, since they are happening in France.

The only thing that will stay will be the articles I’m writing each week.

If you’re new here, know that you can subscribe to my newsletter and be able to receive an article about new ways to see life and apprehend it.

I believe we have the power to change our life and that the earth is here to lead us.

And that is what my newsletter is about. Discoveries about the world has to offer us.

We all have a reason to be grateful for something.

I believe it is a duty we have. We have to remember who life offered to us. Moreover, it is an act that encourages it to do it again. The more you are grateful for something that happened in your life, the more you tell the Universe that you want more.

Today I am grateful.

I opened this blog 8 months ago, at the beginning of 2020 and it’s been a wonderful adventure since then.

Of course, it is never easy when one starts on the path to building its own independence. Last week I decided to start to run a brand awareness marketing campaign so that people would get to know the blog even more.

The principle is simple, invest some money – not a lot since I’m not earning anything from the blog – to boost a post and invite people to connect with me, Ben Gananda.

Everyone who already follow me know this but I do have profiles on various social media networks. You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin – the links are below the article. 

Since I didn’t have a lot of money to invest and that Facebook and Instagram are from the same company now, I decided to run a 3 day campaign on Facebook that would also be shown on Instagram.

I am thrilled to announce that the post that boosted my last article Togetherness was seen more that 15 000 times and liked more that 4 500 times both on Facebook and Instagram at the same time.

Having so much feed back makes me want to go on.

I had to dedicated an article to thanking YOU.

Now that this is done, I can properly tell you that I am currently working on different projects that will come to life in a month or two. I cannot say more already but be sure to stay tuned.

I believe in the power of each and everyone of us and I want to be here for anyone who is in search of truth and purpose.

I will be able to show you more about the movie project I told you about in two of my articles, the first one is called Docu-Project : The Internal Change Happening Within and Outside of Us and the second one is On Being Childlike and I will also have 2 other secret products that will be launched soon.

Stop running and listen to yourself

As promised, we’ll continue on the subject we began talking about. And I chose specifically those  ones because I used to find myself getting anxious for nothing. Always trying to just do the work I had to do and then get to the next thing without even taking time for myself. And since most of us try to think about others before, where do you find that time when you just sit with yourself? And actually be ok just by yourself, without using anything to help you out.

Some years ago, I realised I just couldn’t be by myself, in my own apartment without having something to do, to watch or to listen. I had to have something going on in order for me to feel good. I was then advised to learn to be good on my own, with the TV and music off, even if that was for just 5 minutes a day.

And that was the starting point of my mediation journey. Little by little, I tried and checked how I was feeling in those moments of nothingness. At first yes, I’m not gonna lie, that was hard but trust me, I know that now, this time is the most valuable of my day. Of course it’s gonna feel weird, your body needs to acclimate to the new things you’re trying to teach him.

So many people are looking for their purpose. But in our world, we have to do the work, do the gym, do the housing, do, do, do, do, do…. So much that we then don’t take the time to just sit and know what is happening inside of us and therefore where our hearts, our purpose is. We won’t be able to figure it out until we just ask ourselves what it is we want, what it is that make our heart sparkle.

This non-stopping mindset is a distraction from us being able to slow down long enough to actually get all the answers we’re waiting for.

Meditation can be used as a tool to open your channel. We all have a divine channel, that inner knowing, like a cosmic inner voice that connects us to the divine inside us. A divine that isn’t necessarily God but maybe your own God, the one that you go to when you need guidance. Because we all need guidance in this world. Some might even call it consciousness.

And that is all the purpose of mediation, being able to be conscious of what you want and what you feel so you can hear that inner voice that wants to guide you.

There are steps that need to happen in order for you to be the container for the love, for the abundance, and for the inner knowing you so deeply need. You need to learn how to hold the space, which will make you able to facilitate other people.

So many people want to skip doing that inner work. Because yes, it might be considered as working on yourself but I’m sorry to say it, nothing will ever happen to you if you haven’t worked for it. In every areas in life. We all have to work on ourselves, we all have an inner child work to do, we all have to forgive, we all have to face what triggers us to go on in life. But people just want to get to the purpose and then enjoy it and then the end. But there will is something else and your purpose will never be fulfilling if you haven’t done the inner work. You won’t hear the divine whispers of the soul if you have a lot of noise. 

But people are so busy and consumed, and in such a state of avoidance that they can’t hear this inner voice. You have to make the space to hear, you have to know your soul assignment. You’ll never gonna figure it out until you slow down. It’s often too loud to get clarity on your purpose. You’re not present. You’re running around trying to see what you can get from everyone instead of trying to see what you can give.

So learn to be still, to live with yourself, to understand that beautiful person that you are. Learn to look for the things that make you feel good instead of the things that consume you. It’s too easy to let yourself burn in the everyday noise. It’s less easy to take time and work for yourself but so much more fulfilling and self realising.

Nobody will do that work but you. Nobody will take care of yourself better than you can. Deep down you know what is better for you, trust that voice and be bold enough to follow it.

Self love – acceptance – is the key to living your purpose. 

There is never gonna be enough money, enough time or just enough of what you’re trying to get everyday. You’re just going to continue to get more and more and more and still won’t be satisfied because you haven’t stopped.

But why do you have that anxiety? Why are you stressed out all the time? What are you running from? 

I’m talking about meditation because it has become a tool for me so I can be present with myself. It has shown me how to wait and be aware of my surroundings and of what I’m actually doing. It has become that time of the day where I just sit and dedicate time for myself, usually at the beginning of the day. After that time, my batteries are finally recharged and I can be present for everyone around me. Of course I’m not saying that it has changed me right away, again everything takes time, but it is changing me and I’m learning everyday how to be still. For someone like me who was and is always running around it is a big step. My next step is to learn to be still even longer.

As for you, you should just try out what works for you. There is multiple kind of meditations which can be really useful. There is more than 20 different types of meditation (this website shows you the difference between all of them), one where you sit, another one where you have breathing exercices which will help your body relax, and also another one where you can lie down and even fall asleep if you need to (that one is called yoga nidra). I advise you to check the Insight Timer app, which has been a great tool for the past 3 years for my meditations, they offer free guided meditations, courses, talks, musics…

The more you meditate, the less likely you are to make a mistake. Truly. So I encourage you to start meditating for at least 5 minutes a day. What is 5 minutes? We all can find that time.

In my meditation journey, I also came across Yoga, which has really been a game changer for me. Be sure to stay tuned to know more, it will be the subject of my next article. I will also share how our body are connected and always changing, on a cellular level.
