Unlike number 8, 7 has powers. Different kind of powers that can serve all of us.

Let’s start to uncover this today.

This subject hasn’t been chosen for the Netflix series *Miracle in Cell No. 7* but because it truly can make miracles happen. Some might even say that it is a number from angels.

There is a multitude of apparition of this number and this article will never be long enough to list all of them. Nevertheless, we will strive to speak of **the most important and mysterious ones one can find**.

Note to my readers : this post will come as a guide for future articles. There is so much to say about this number, every apparition of it means something different. Therefore, in order to fully understand what it means, we will uncover every subjects found on this article later on. More about this at the end.

### Why is number 7 special?

No need to believe in anything to realise that there is something special about this number. It does come in a multitude of ways, in different kinds of situations and belief systems.

Unlike other numbers, we find this one almost everywhere** if we are curious enough** to look. The more one looks for information, the more this number seems to be mystical.

- First of all, in western culture at the begining of our milennial, an academic program called Liberal Arts Education, included 7 different arts that would be the basis for every educational program.

Those arts were divided in two degrees : *trivium* (latin for *the three ways*) included the powers of languages and aimed at teaching grammar, dialectic and rhetoric ; *quadrium* (latin for *the four ways*) included for their part the powers of numbers and aimed at teaching arithmetic, music, geometry and astronomy.

- As most of us know, we have 7 days in a week

As we will see that in another section of this article, 7 is the number of days of each moon phases and since there are 4, we get a month with 4 weeks. Furthermore, each days of the week would be corresponding to a planet of our solar system (which were 7 a few years earlier) in particular. Monday for the Moon, Tuesday for Mars, Wednesday for Mercury, Thursday for Jupiter, Friday for Venus, Saturday for Saturn and the Sun for Sunday of course.

- The Statue of Liberty’s crown in New York City, USA has 7 spikes

It is said that they represent the 7 seas and the 7 continents. Which makes her the representative of peace on earth.

- There is a multitude of cities that have been constructed on 7 hills

Such as Rome – Italy, Paris – France, Wahsington DC – USA, Lisbon – Portugal, Pretoria – South Africa, Istanbul – Turkey (each hill has a Mosque), Yaounde – Cameroun, Bath – UK, Saint Etienne – France, Cincinnati – USA. And this is not a coincidence that most of those cities happen to be capital cities if you ask me.

### What does number 7 means?

Starting to feel awkward? That’s what I felt when I started to look for information about this number. We can find answers in a lot of **legends** and, as you will see now, there’s more to it than one would have thought.

- Every religion talk about the number 7

About 20 times in the Bible (some say that 7 represents the holyness of God), about 10 times in the Coran (such as the number of letters it was revealed in or the first verses of it) and in about 10 stories in Hinduism.

- 7 deadly sins or capital vices

This is related to religions as well, but according to the list, they are pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth and are contrary to the seven heaveanly virtues.

- The 7 years’ war

The first to be qualified as a global world war happened on the 18th century in Europe, from 1756 to 1763.

- The 7 wonders of the world

Even if some might talk of the new seven wonders (one might ask why seven again) including the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, California. The original seven wonders are : The Pyramids of Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the statue of Zeus at Olympia, the temple of Artemis in Ephesus, the Mausoleum at Halicarnasse, the Colossus of Rhodes and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

This article would be so long if we tried to understand really what this number means. This will need to take some more time. Keep reading to see where I’m going with this.

### What are number 7 powers?

This is a question we won’t be able to answer today. Nonetheless, we can find many answers in the legends of our world. Anyone’s world actually. Such as :

- The seven stars of Ursa Minor

There is definitely something with this number. Why would the north pole star and the most famous constellation would have this number in its description otherwise?

- The average duration of a quarter moon is 7 days

And we know oh too well that the moon has magic proprieties on us and on the planet.

- Our face has 7 holes and our body has 7 dhatus – which are the human body tissues

In Ayurveda, we talk about 7 dhatus that make our body whole. Without one of them, our body wouldn’t function properly.

- A basic musical scale has 7 notes

Here’s this number again. Is it a coincidence that music has an effect on our mood?

- A rainbow has 7 colors, and they happen to be the colors of the 7 chakras

This number seems to be mystical and to have an effect on our lives. It looks like it is part of us. Actually, in numerology, we say that this number is the number of knowledge, analysis and luck.

#### Take a breath

Stay with me for a minute.

Let’s remember the importance of numbers here.

If we take one of the 7 wonders, the Pyramids of Giza. Reasearches has shown that they have been, such as other monuments counted as one of the seven wonders, built using a number system we know today, **metres**. Which in itself is quite disconcerting since they shouldn’t have known it at that time.

Some might even say that they did so in order for us to understand something about the magic of numbers. Why then would we find number Pi or the Golden Ratio in the calculation of the Pyramids?

For those who don’t know, those two numbers are mathematical constants, which means that they are present in the universe as units of measure. The Golden Ratio is part of the calculation of the size of the earth, as well as the size of our body. Take a new born for example, his navel would be at equal distance from his head as well as from his toes ; and his height would be calculated with the Golden Ratio. This same new born would also weight, on average, 3.14 kg, which is this time Pi number.

Do you stil need to be convinced? Some might even tell you that secret agencies (take CIA for instance) would also try to use numbers as **a language for communicating with extra terrestrials**.

This is a lot to take in. Especially when you think about the fact that this list of 13 reasons isn’t finished at all since they are other ones inclunding number 7.

I even had to take a step back and think.

And this is what I am giving you, time to think.

In order for us to fully understand everything that is necessary to consider, from now on, we are going to take each reasons listed in this article as a content for future articles.

This will be our call to adventure for *discovering what the world has to offer us*.

It would be too easy to be able to uncover the truth of the universe just by looking at it. I think we have eyes to look at the magic of the world, and we have a brain to understand what it means for us.

And that is what we are going to do in the next 13 articles.

The 14th will be dedicated to summarize all that we learnt and make a conclusion for all the questions we’ve been asking today :

## Uncover the mysteries of number 7

Until then, I have chosen for you a lecture from an author I really like and that is explaining things really well, Gregg Braden.

In this lecture from 2012, he talks about an ancient wisdom taken from the Essenes. They explain how every individual is experiencing 7 mirrors of existence and how they can shape our reality. Or, as he put it in the description : « As we go back into these texts, we see that it is emotion that proves the power and, when coupled with logic, true magic and miracles occur. »

This is a long one but one you won’t regret watching.

If you liked this article and wouldlike to know about the other ones as we uncover the mysteries of number 7, I would be delighted to welcome you in my community.

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
